Frequently asked questions

Can I use OpenHuman Atlas right now?

Yes. The current atlas experience is available through the live atlas app, and the Explorer tier reflects that public entry point.

Is paid pricing live today?

The auth, account, and Stripe checkout scaffolding is now in the app. Paid plans go live once your Supabase and Stripe environment values are configured.

Why does Pro require sign-in?

Auth exists to unlock Pro-only features and billing management while keeping the main atlas free and broadly accessible.

Can schools or institutions talk to you now?

Yes. Institutional access is modeled around organization-owned billing and seats, but rollout should start as a sales-assisted flow before you automate self-serve institution checkout.

The app is now scaffolded for auth, checkout, account management, organization seats, and sponsor-aware access. Stripe and Supabase environment values still need to be configured.
