Refund Policy

Effective date: March 23, 2026

This Refund Policy explains how refunds and cancellations are handled for paid subscriptions to OpenHuman Atlas, operated by MedHue Labs LLC.

Subscription refunds

If you are not satisfied with your paid subscription, you may request a refund within 7 days of your initial purchase or renewal. Refund requests made after this window will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. When you cancel:

  • Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period.
  • You will not be charged for the next billing cycle.
  • You retain access to paid features until the end of the period you already paid for.

How to request a refund

To request a refund, email us at hello@openhumanatlas.com with your account email and a brief explanation. We aim to respond to all refund requests within 5 business days.

Processing

Approved refunds are processed through Stripe and returned to the original payment method. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.

Exceptions

Refunds may not be available in the following circumstances:

  • The request is made more than 7 days after purchase or renewal and no extenuating circumstances apply.
  • The account was terminated for violation of our Terms of Service.
  • The subscription was used extensively before the refund request.

Institutional and sponsorship payments

Refunds for institutional plans or sponsorship payments are handled on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us directly to discuss.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page.
